What Do We Do With Them All?

We collect thousands of books every week throughout the Northern region. These are fed  back into the community, through the marketplace, schools, hospitals and other charitable organisations. Where books are past their useful life, we make sure that they are recycled responsibly and in an environmentally friendly manner through a licensed paper waste recycling company, who pulp them and can be used for products such as toilet rolls etc.

None of the books we collect are disposed of at landfill sites or burnt in incinerators, helping reduce the harmful toxins and other pollutants, produced by these methods. So you are safe in the knowledge that you are lowering your carbon footprint and helping to redeem our planet’s ecological future.
